This is a little awkward. See also: Embarrassing.
I received a message from SG last week saying goodbye. I accepted my soon-to-be grey status and farewelled my friends. I sent messages, I wrote a final journal entry and fully expected not to be able to log in when I got home from work the next day.
Only, it appears to have been for nothing as a week has since passed and I am still able to log in.
So, here she remains. Time frame: unknown.
I've thrown caution (and therapy) to the wind in recent times. This has found me to be much happier (who would have thought therapy was making me unhappy?!) and more-or-less going with the flow.
'The Flow' can lead to many different places, situations and adventures.
Last night, 'the flow' tried to get me seated on a ride at a country fair with no safety bar. At this stage, I decided that I wasn't following the flow into life threatening situations. So, I politely asked the Carnie for a different seat allocation.
On the oldest and rustiest show ride I've ever seen, I screamed and squealed and generally feared for my life. In those same moments, I threw my hands in the air and for the short while that followed, felt entirely free.
What is the most bizarre, random place or situation you've ended up in even you've throw caution to the wind and let it carry you away?
