On July 12, 2006, Devon Blood, tattoo artist and boyfriend of Boxcar was shot in the head while trying to protect Boxcar during a attempted robbery of her home.
I will be selling prints of the photo below of Sawa, Aries, Adahlia and I for those of us who want to contribute to helping him on his way to recovery. Note: Boxcar is Adahlia.
Email me at aminamunster@gmail.com for payment information.
Every cent will be donated to the "Devon Get Better" fund, which is located at Washington Mutual. I am donating all printing and shipping costs.
I will be taking orders for 9 DAYS ONLY. Prints ordered and paid for by Wednesday, the 9th of August will be requested from my printers.
Prints will be sold for $24.00. Unfortunately, there is no telling when us four girl will be together again so there is no way for us to all sign the print. However, if you so desire I can sign or inscribe the photo with a personal message for no additional cost by request only. Meaning: I won't sign the print unless you ask. Images will be printed 8X12, on Matte and shipped in a padded mailer. Prints will be sent out Tuesday, August 15th via USPS mail. No extra charge to Canada.
Here is a small portion of Devon's story via Boxcar, check her profile page for more updates on his condition.
"The most important person in my existence, my dude, tattooer Devon Blood, is in the hospital right now after being shot early Wednesday morning, July 12, during an attempted robbery of my home. He's listed as stable in the ICU, he's unconscious, but his recovery looks good if he stays the course he's on right now. Either way, it's going to be a long road to being his usual self. The bullet that is lodged in his brain is not going to be removed, as the doctors fear it would do more damage to operate to remove it than to leave it where it is.
For those that know Devon, you know what a gentle, good-hearted person he is, as well as the passion he has for tattooing, and the love he has for his family and friends. He didn't deserve this to happen AT ALL, not that most people do, but it doesn't sit right knowing what he's going through.
One of his closest pals, Matt Howse, has sorted out an account for Devon, for those of us who want to contribute to helping him on his way to recovery."
PLEASE PASS THIS ON OR REPOST.
