No the Russians weren't goofy lovestruck guys, they were intimidating. I've lived in Moscow and dealt with every kind of pickup, from someone walking up and saying "let's get acquainted!", to marriage proposals (then three-way proposals) while waiting for the last subway train, to being mistaken for a prostitute, to being stalked and followed in the middle of the night. These guys were creepy.

Hehe. If you think about it too long, then I get sad about the crappy life that people that crazy must endure (both in reality and in their minds).
On the other hand... I met a guy the other day who insisted that he had to get to the future and that if he could just write "it" down then all of the world's problems would be solved. And he made me giggle a bit.
