My Mind is buzzing with promising ideas right now. I've recently applied to the New York Blood Center for a position as a donor specialist. I had my phone interview about an hour ago and tomorrow I'm scheduled for a formal interview with the hiring manager. For the longest time I've had bitter feelings toward a company that I've given 4 years of my life to. I haven't moved forward and barely had an increase in salary. This job offers such an improvement to income, benefits, tuition reimbursement, and overall satisfaction in knowing that my efforts go directly to making a difference in the ever present need for blood donations to trauma/medical patients. I've felt stagnant for the longest time and now those feelings dissolve away. I couldn't be happier! Just wanted to share this with you guys. Hope you're all having an excellent day.
