Ok, so I thought I'd bleach my hair and do a photo blog of it.
This is the color of my hair to begin with. It is now 3:06pm PST.
Here are the ingredients I'm using. Clariol Professional BW 2 Dedusted Extra Strength Powder Lightner with a 20 Volume White Creme Developer. I bought a little applicator brush and bowl with rubber gloves. I also have some Loreal Technique Preference hair color. But I'm going to go straight blonde (or white hopefully).
And here's Cooter and Qui Gon Jin being cam whores.
Ow the bleach burns! By the time I was done putting it all on, it's already blonding pretty well and I could wash it out now. But I will leave it in at least 30 minutes more. I understand you aren't supposed to leave it in too long because it's bad for your hair. Oh well! It will grow back I'm sure.
might as well do the stache and goatee, even though my hair is not very thick. ow it still burns.
ok, its really done, but ima do another run on it with the bleach...
I hope it gets lighter the second time around. I had half my bleach left anyways. OMG it really burned this time. I think because my scalp was raw from the first go.
well i guess this is as light as it gets... now i look like the bad kid from Harry Potter...
and not to get on the negative side... but i was thinking how my skin was all sun damaged from hiking so much without sunblock, and how i have so many wrinkle lines and stuff and im only 34. i always wish it didnt take me this long to actually start caring about my appearance.
i guess better late than never.
