Relatively new to this site and thought I would participate instead of constantly trolling. Not 100% sure the purpose of a blog, is it to reflect my inner thoughts or to address a wider audience?
Contradictions about me:
1. Bleeding-heart liberal who likes Ayn Rand novels.
2. Wear my Misfits t-shirts under pearl snaps.
3. 600 CDs, 400 vinyl albums but no sense of tempo.
4. Likes reading Bill Simmons' columns but hate watching sports.
5. Refuse to buy albums on digital format but swear by my Kindle.
6. Can sing along to the greatest hits of Hal Ketchum and Minor Threat.
Getting nervous about taking the upcoming LSAT (06/07) to pursue a new career and then having to study for the Series 9 and 10 for my current job.
Had a tough choice to make last week, I was looking for a way to celebrate the weekend after the LSAT and found that GBH and the Buzzcocks were both playing the same night. Thought I had a better chance of winning the lotto than having two iconic bands like this playing the same night at different venues in Texas. I think I made the right choice... Buzzcocks.
From the forums I know Texas gets a bad rap but I think it depends on where you visit.
Quick Lesson: Austin>Fort Worth>Dallas>Houston.
Quote of the day:
"I brought a knife to a gun fight."
P.S. I don't know how the friends situation works on here. Is it someone you're fond of based on profile, blog, photos or more based on some prior relationship?
