Existence as a concept is simple, something which is present within the reality surrounding us. It's the questions brought forth in the concept which I personally struggle with. When I look beyond the language and think about what reality actually is (besides the current onslaught of naff TV) it quickly starts to baffle me.
They say, if you could travel fast enough away from the earth and gazed back at it with a powerful enough telescope you could see the dinosaurs, what the fuck does that say about living for the moment or biding your time. It wasn't even feasible to conjure up such a ridiculous sounding statement a century ago, at least not with any belief in it, due to the lack of certain facts which weren't so easily attainable then. In another hundred years who's to say ghosts or where the hell that other sock goes wont be another one of life's great mysteries solved?
Is it really enough just to "be" without knowing all there is to know about the bigger picture?
I shouldn't be up this late or this drunk when I've got work in the morning, so goodnight and god bless

Never mind the ins and outs and indiginties of daily living, the sheer miracle of existence is, indeed, baffling. Rather than take on the entire subject, I find it helpful to tackle the subject one piece at a time....to gain some mastery over one small portion, then another, looking for answers. I have not gotten very far, admittedly....having gotten hung up on the missing sock issue, but, I know what I'm talking about.
