Everyone, thanks again for all of the love on my new set, Pearl Lioness! I really appreciate all of the love and the comments!
AAAAAND:
I DID it.
Today, on November 29th, 2012, at 2:40am (Pacifc Time), I logged my final word count for National Novel Writing Month 2012! I DID IT!!!!! I WON MY VERY FIRST NANOWRIMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Word count: 50,207
Story title: She Who Is Yakuza
I started a week late. Wrote something, then didn't even look at my story for another seven days. Wrote more, then slacked off for another four days. Added to my word count again, and then of course, slacked off again for another five days. Towards the end, I wrote a bit more, and skipped four more days were I didn't do a thing, and then another two.
I am damn proud to say I wrote a novel in SIX (nonconsecutive) DAYS, and finished BEFORE the deadline of November 30th, 2012.
Here's the link to my NaNoWriMo page, where you can see my stats, my story genre and read an excerpt from it!

I wouldn't have been able to achieve this without the awesome laptop my dude scored for me at Black Friday (because mine was on life support at this point). The highlight of standing in that line for only six hours was that I met a fellow nerd who was playing Crash Bandicoot Warped!!!! on his PSP, and that took me WAAAAY back, because Crash Bandicoot Warped was the MAIN reason I wanted (and got) a Playstation (1)!
But yeah, love my new laptop. It's all pink, and happy, and submits to my trecherous demands to satisfy my desire to write whenever. Muahahaha.
In other news, a few days ago, I got the birth control implant, Implanon. In short, it's a matchstick-sized implant they stick up your arm that prevents pregnancy for up to three years. I'm too irresponsible to remember birth control pills (lol), my doctor says since osteoporosis sprints through my family, I can't continue the shot since it'll eventually weaken my bones, and condoms.....yeah, they literally rub me the wrong way trolololo, and I choose not to use them after being with with an equally monogamous partner for a long time.
The only reason I wasn't so wild about having the implant is because (well, one, the whole cutting into me thing), mainly because I didn't want it interfering with my impending sleeve tattoo, but after asking many girls, and a few doctors, a professional should be able to ink my arm and it won't have a negative effect on the implant, and if it scars upon removal, I can just add to the tattoo and cover it up.
Long story short, I was freaked out the entire time, but my doctor was a nice (and funny) lady. There were two other nurses in the room aside from her, and I had to lay down with my arm outstretched. They put a needle in my skin filled with numbing agent (that was THE worst part), and then she told me to look away for a minute. I didn't even feel her placing the implant in my skin, and it's a good thing because it's quite a painful (without numbing agent) and nauseating (to me anyway) process to watch.
I took off my bandage today. Tis a small flesh wound!
And really, that's been my life thus far. I start nursing school on the 10th! YAY!!!!!! I am SO excited for it!!!!!
ALSO!!!! I'm gonna be in Vegas for not only my birthday (Feb, 3rd) But it's also the same weekend as the first shootfest of 2012!!! I am so excited for this one!
And especially congrats to the newly pinked ladies, especially Slamm and Muerta! These babes have been long over due!
Also, be sure to give even MORE love to all of your favorite ladies in MR!
And now, I'm going to bed. Good night, thank you all for the amazing support, prayers, burning things in effigy, and inspiration. Thank you.
Here's some random hilarty I leave you with:
My favorite person from the movie The Birdcage (no one can scream like Nathan Lane)--
