I went out with some friends last night. Like really "went out" went out, which I haven't done in quite some time. It was actually quite fun (relatively speaking, in this relentlessly unfun town). I ran into someone from school, someone from my former workplace, an old friend, and met a cool guy with freaky spiral contact lenses. And I didn't even get hung over! Good times.
Today I got a check from my grandparents for $1,250. That means I can cover my first tuition payment AND make the minimum payment on my badly overdrawn credit card! I'm immensely relieved.
Howl's Moving Castle is playing at a theater here! Sweet! I'm so going to go see it tommorrow. Miyazaki rules!

Thanks for the comment on my rejected set. Not getting a hangover is always a good thing. As is getting money from your grandparents, and paying your tuition/bills. Good stuff all around.
