so how is it that i have a job, but they are still waiting on everyone's background checks and we still dont have a start date? boooo! i need to start working like yesterday.eeek

Banks and companies do that all the time. They want to get you started on training and will cut you loose if you have something bad in your past. The odds are in their fav, because if you won't qual then chances are you won't even apply. Good luck
