As yous see I was going to do this daily but couldn't do it. Since busy lives and it is hard to write the blogs I do everyday. But I had a blast writing these up and I do see the comments, likes, etc. I'm late to the party on my notifications due to being busy with life and also need some offline time. I'm on & off online these days since sometimes I need me time you know. Basically watching Parks & Recreation and playing a lot of video games. Currently replaying Tomb Raider (2013) on my PS5. Nearly finishes it, which is great cause I'm getting Spiderman 2 so if I'm offline often, you'll know why. That and being out & about, cooking or watching films. Like the ones I watch for day 25/26/27/28/29/30 and of course Halloween.
So I'm not going to waste time and get started by reviewing these 7 films I watched to complete this 2023 Fury's Halloween Watchlist...

My Spoiler Free Reviews
Monster Squad Review
Starting off is what I like the call The Goonies if it was Halloween themed lol. This is a film that's gotten a cult following over the last few years, since I think it wasn't a household name for a while. Came out the same year I was born. 1987. So it took a while for word of mouth to go around. And it is a Halloween Classic this film since it's the first film I know to have Dracula, Wolfman, The Mummy, Frankenstein, etc in the same film together. The film itself is 80's fun basically. Not mention to be serious. But I like it. It is quite funny too. A few funny one liners. And it is a fun time. It is underrated imo. Definitely check it out. 4/5
Drag Me To Hell Review
This one was good but not great imo. It's an Sam Raimi one and I do think this film is an unofficial Evil Dead film. Definitely has elements of that hammy horror comedy that Evil Dead is known for and it's got it's scares. I do like it, even though it is not up there with Sam Raimi's best works. Even though the acting is great. I do like Justin Long (underrated) and Alison Lohman. Who was McKenna on that show Tucker. I watched that a lot as a kid back when it was on Nickelodeon TV here in the UK. Had a crush on her since she was a skater girl on the show and I was skating at the time with mates of mine. Same Alison Lohman retired after this film cause I do think she is a good actress. She's like Brie Lawson if she was likeable haha. But yeah the acting was good and the story is decent. Also it is so well edited as Sam Raimi films usually. My problem with the film is the ending and of course I'll not spoil here. Just didn't like the ending much. But overall it is a good flick. Not the greatest but it is good. A low 4/5
The Nightmare Before Christmas Review
To those who have read and follow this Halloween Watchlist blogs of mine will remember me reviewing Coraline. Spoiler alert, I loved that film. So far it's one of my favourites from my Watchlist so far. And that film was directed by Henry Selick. So I thought to include this classic into my watchlist cause come on it's Halloween written all over this film. As a lot of yous know since yous know this film and watched it. And probably got the songs in your head atm lol. Yeah a quick summary here, I love this film. Watched it so many times over the years and still will rewatch it again. Yeah I grew up with it and it's still timeless. Also imo this film is more Danny Elfman than Tim Burton. Tim just did the story and produced this one. Reason is cause this is mostly a musical and did the lyrics, music and was the singing voice for Jack. So he was fully avoided in this film and it is awesome for it. Since Danny Elfman is one of my favourite film composers, the dude does great scores like John Williams. Which reminds me, need to get the soundtrack on CD. Yeah I still buy CDs from time to time. I'm old fashioned after all haha. But yeah this is an all time classic, love it!! 5/5
Beetlejuice Review
I think yous all know this film by now and know it is a classic. And I love it too. Just a fun ass film. Now this is a Tim Burton film. Even though Danny is the composer for this one too. There's not much to say on this one since it's a classic and we all love it...I think, hopefully lol. But yeah it's a classic and hopefully one day I'll have a dinner party when we all do this....

The Menu Review
This one is a short review since there is no way I am saying or giving anything away about this film. Since that's how I like to watch my films and that is not knowing that much about it. Or anything at all. IMO I think it helps with watching the film and let's you make up your own mind you know. So if yous haven't seen this flick. Go for it. It is awesome. Great acting, well directed and all that jazz. It is such a great film and one of my favourites from my Watchlist. Think it is made for me since I am a home cook and a big time foodie. So this maybe biased but I don't care. I love this film, definitely buying this on Blu Ray. 5/5
Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark Review
Another one that I went into without knowing anything about it. I didn't know this was based off books that most grew up reading. It's like Goosebumps but with a more mature edge to it. I may get those Scary Stories books. Along with more Stephen King films. Since I really enjoyed this film a lot. Love the design of the monsters in this and of course this was produced by Guillermo Del Toro and also did the screenplay too. So you know it'll look brilliant with him BTS. Also this was directed by the same bloke behind The Autopsy Of Jane Doe. Which is a great horror flick too btw. I recommend that one as well. The acting was great from the child actors and it's got some good horror in it. The monsters definitely creep me out. Especially The Pale Lady, look like something from the Japanese horror game series Fatal Fame or Project Zero as it's known here in the UK. I enjoyed this one. If you like Goosebumps but if you want Goosebumps to be more mature enough, this is a film for yous peeps. It is very good! 4/5
Trick r Treat Review
This is the one I watched on Halloween Night. Since I didn't had any Halloween plans. I just watched films, most for this Watchlist and most for shits & giggles. Like rewatching the Addams Family films again lol. But also I play video games a lot and watch Youtube videos, especially on scary stories & dark myths. That kind of stuff but also food videos. So yeah that was my Halloween. Least I didn't this Halloween in this film haha. Which I liked btw. It's an anthology film similar to Creepshow. Which I reviewed in my Halloween Watchlist in the previous years here on SG. I think I give Creepshow a 3/5, it's decent but not the best one imo. Trick r Treat I prefer more. Since at least it's all connected to this Halloween night from four sub stories that connects all together for this film. It is really good this one. Also it's quite funny. Especially from Brian Cox's over the top acting lol. He was the best part imo. But of course I'll won't spoil anything. But this whole film is basically Halloween porn. Imo it's the perfect Halloween Night film. Also there's some good twist & turns. Good acting too. So yeah this is a very good anthology film. Definitely one of the better horror anthology films out there, check it out!! 4/5

Fury's Cosplay Sets Of The Day

So I have a few Cosplay SOTDs for yous all since I'm late to the party as always. But better late than never right lol. So to start we got this awesome SOTD winning set from one of my favourites @hex with her Jennifer's Body cosplay set. @hex does a lot of horror cosplays and yous should follow her socials & so forth. Their all well done and she definitely deserves the support/follow from yous lot. Lucky most of yous already have. To those who haven't, yous won't be disappointed. Like watching Jennifer's Body. It is a great film, for the longest time I thought I didn't watch it cause it was sooo mixed you know. But then I just watch it and I enjoyed it. I just ignore the film's reputation and see the film myself. Done that for years and I enjoyed it a lot. It's not an anti male film btw, ignore that commentary online peeps. It's pretty equal. Seriously watch that film and see if yous like it or not. And tbh most do like it like me and of course @hex here. Who I miss chatting with and hope she is doing well. I'm sure she is, got her own clothing line business going on and I'm sure it'll grow like her follower numbers should be & her set numbers should be cause she is awesome. Along with @niallpatterson who's a top bloke and a top photographer who will get his own Appreciation Blog entry one day. It has been a while since @blaizee did a SG set and wish she had more SOTDs. I have a list of SG/Pinked models who I feel deserve more SOTDs. And @blaizee is one of them. She recently celebrated her birthday a few days ago so a happy belated birthday to @blaizee and I'll still blog & support her til she tells me to stop lol. She's one of my all time favourites. Last but not least on my Cosplay SOTD picks it's this one, cosplaying as the four witches from The Craft. That being some of my favourites from @suicidegirlsargentina side of SG, @flareon @juliju @meixime & @turmalina here. All beautiful ladies, in & out. Think @juliju & @flareon are regulars in this Halloween Watchlist blog series this year along with @blizzard @infernum and others. Also some of my best mates on SG. Usually chatting to @juliju & @flareon and @meixime & @turmalina I should chat to more often. I'm actually bad at replying back immediately, usually it's later. Since I'm not online as much. Doing my best but if yous read my blogs often. You know I am a home cook and usually out & about with my family. When I'm not blogging here or chatting to my online mates. I'm definitely not ignoring yous. I notice every like, comment, shoutout, DM, follow, etc I get and I thank yous. But I do reply back and I can't thank yous all for bearing with me and being patient. But I think yous all understand. We are all kinda alike really. We are weirdos and fuckin proud of it haha. I'm already a weirdo by default, thank you ASD lol jk. So yeah we rock. Also I saw in @juliju post on IG since she follows my IRL account and saw she was at the Biggest Spiderman gathering ever in Argentina. Thinking I wish I was there 😭lol. Glad it was a good time there nonetheless. We don't do that here in Scotland. We're not big into Halloween as other countries are. We do celebrated Halloween, don't get me wrong but I wish we were more passionate about it you know what I mean. We're too laidback haha. TBF it is best to just sit back and just watch Halloween/Horror films. It's relaxing. Also horror games too. Soon Alan Wake 2 will be mine lol. But yeah if I was there in Argentina for the Spiderman gathering. Definitely be partying with @juliju and of course @flareon will dress up as Sexy Ghostface haha. Along with @meixime @turmalina & even @kramarenko as well and then we'll watch The Craft afterwards. Wishing we were witches and wizards. Be like a real life Harry Potter or something lol. So yeah this is a great cosplay set of The Craft, classic film. Hopefully one day this set will be SOTD. Check it out peeps, more the merrier!!

Fury's Cosplay Shoutouts
Got a few shoutouts. Starting with...
My Caps Queen @svetlanna as Freddy. And she doesn't haunt my dreams, she is a dream...man that is corny isn't it lol. Sounds like one of those cheesy corny chat up lines that females get from desperate dudes. I apologise on behalf of the male species haha jk. But yeah this is another great cosplay from @svetlanna and also congrats on her Texas Chainsaw Massacre cosplay being SOTD recently, well deserved. And congrats to @yuuh too, another one as a photographer. Hopefully she'll be a pink SG model one day too. Definitely deserves it. So yeah congrats to both!!
This one from @nerwen as Spider Gwen is awesome, just like she is. @nerwen is definitely one of my favourites and just an awesome lass too. Has been going thru a lot and she is just a strong woman. She really deserves more love. And I hope she is well & good. Love catching up with her. Just a top lass!!
One of my favourites from the @suicidegirlsaustralia side. It is @akiramai being the Corpse Bride from...well..um..Corpse Bride haha. I haven't watched the film in ages but I do like it. Like nearly all of Tim Burton's films. We will see more of @akiramai on SG and I do hope she had a good Halloween. I'm sure she has. Probably watching Corpse Bride with her pups, who knows lol.
To finish off. A wee surprise. These are my picks for Halloween MVPs of this year. It goes out to @infernum @flareon and @blizzard who are producing great Halloween content. Also @infernum won VOTM for her video Allergic To Colours which @babu shot, so well done to both. @blizzard has been doing the Cosplay Challenge all month and she worked so hard for it along with her man @msilveira & it's awesome work. Both will get their own Appreciation Blogs from yours truly soon. And or course @flareon who deserves more love. Usually chatting away and she is one of my best friends from my time here on SG. Along with @infernum & @blizzard above, as well as @babu & @msilveira too. Also @fla @joymermaid @julha @juliju @olgakulaga @rare @ravenna etc. I got so many, it is easy to lost count. I got 622 members of the Fury Family and it's growing. So I thought I'll finish my Cosplay Shoutouts with my Halloween MVPs of 2023!!

The Conclusion
So that is my final Halloween Watchlist blog of 2023 done and dusted. Thank yous all so so much for following and loving the blog series. Means a lot. Worked hard on it and I'm happy with it. I enjoyed writing them up. Couldn't do it daily since real life was in the way, in a good way. But I love writing these up and I know a lot of yous enjoyed it too. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking up your free time in reading these blogs of mine. I know yous lot are busy with things in your life. So I am grateful yous take the time in reading my blogs. Makes me feel special.
Also thank you @magusjoe @geekyfox & @bob_dylan for the shoutouts to my blog series. Means a lot dudes. It is a lot of work and effort that I put in my blogs here on SG. So any support and shoutouts is very appreciated. And I do shoutouts a lot so I SFS a lot.
So yeah I didn't do these Halloween Watchlist blogs daily like I planned. And I knew I wouldn't since I do go out & about. Show yous a pic..
Yep that's me in the beanie hat lol. Along with my brother and sister in law. Was out for my nephews birthday. Was at this restaurant where they had outdoor domes. Was pretty cool tbh. Food was great too. My other members of the family are behind the camera lol. I usually don't share pics of my personal life. Since I am still a bit shy on SG outside my blogs lol. But I am trying to break out of my shell. But yeah so was out & about this year. Mostly at restaurants with family. Also I am better dress up than that lol jk. But I couldn't resist wearing my Mass Effect hoodie and my Remedy Games beanie (Guys behind Max Payne, Alan Wake and Control for my fellow video game nerds out there lol).
So if yous wondering why I am on & offline. Just being out & about. Bettering my mental health and it is working.
I will write up the Q&A blogs next as well as the It Beings With K blog too that @juliju tag me in as well as @magusjoe and I think @diddy_dave_uk too maybe. Since he's another best mate from here on SG too.
