So I'm not wasting time. Let's talk about one of my favourite overlooked chillers from the 2000's.....

Frailty Review
As you may notice I'm very versatile. Even my normal blog series here on SG. My model and photographer picks, versatile you know. I mean I'm doing my own thing with my own blogs here. Just like my Halloween Watchlist selections. It's not just horrors but Chillers too. Which is basically horror thrillers. And this is one of the more overlooked ones. Stars & is directed by Bill Paxton. And boy I miss that guy. What an awesome actor (RIP) and this film, he proved he can be a great director too. Just like Models @thimeow @infernum @eveel @penny @sookysins @fla @menta @gloom @mimo @elune @firefox @autumnsky @babu @aymi @saria @zen @atlanticlungs @fishball @waikiki @drew @bretema @hilo @trisha and all that proven to be great photographers too. So same level as that (Also sorry for all the tagging, just to prove a point lol).
In this film without spoiling anything about it. It is about a strange relationship between two brothers & their father, who believes that he was chosen by god to kill demons disguised as people. Is he right or is he just a nutter who's a psychopath?.....well watch the film to had out lol. That's the summary and that's as far as I'll go. Since it is best to go watching the film without knowing much about it. And trust me, this is a great chiller. Psychological and it keeps you guessing throughout.
The story is just so good and well acted by Bill Paxton but also Matthew McConaughey too. This was in 2001 and people for the longest time thought oh Matthew McConaughey was this Romanic Comedy guy with a strong Southern Accent. Like me with my strong Scottish accent lol. And 2001 he was in the middle of those romanic comedy run that typecast him. Films like The Wedding Planner, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Failure To Launch, etc. I think that is unfair. Since he also did Reign Of Fire, Sahara, etc as well. Like this film and he was so awesome in this film. But I won't say what his role is. See this film.
It is so awesome and imo one of the best underrated films from the 2000's that shouldn't be overlooked. I know a lot of yous like Horror Thrillers like myself that is psychological as well. A High recommendation and this too gets a 5/5
Overlooked as hell imo. You'll thank me for this recommendation. A true hidden gem in the genre, check it out!!

So my Cosplay SOTD goes out to this awesome set from @thimeow shot by @infernum and this cosplay is of Emma Frost from X-Men. And of course she is beautiful as always. @thimeow is definitely an Appreciation Blog I can't wait to write soon down the road. Like I did for @infernum too not long ago.
I do enjoy the X-Men films....well most of them haha. There's two or three not so good ones ("cough" Wolverine Origins "cough") but I love the rest. My favourite ones maybe Days Of Future Past and Logan. Awesome flicks. X-Men 3 imo is underrated. I didn't think it was as bad as people said it was. I thought it was decent and had good ideas. Had flaws but it still a good film I feel. But I am a hardcore X-Men fan, well a hardcore Wolverine fan tbh lol. Look forward to seeing Hugh Jackson being him once again for Deadpool 3. Got my fingers crossed that Disney doesn't cock it up. Not been a fan of the more recent Disney films. You do get a few still. Like Guardians 3. But I'm sure it'll be a good one.
Like this awesome set from @thimeow who is just so cool.....yeah I'm doing a Mr Freeze Ice Pun from Batman & Robin haha. Anyway do check it out. Hopefully it'll be SOTD someday, she deserves it!!

Today's shoutout goes out to @helainked for her cosplay of Beetlejuice here.
She's one of the Hopefuls to go and support. Very active here. Do see her on live everytime I come on here to write out my blogs so she is definitely worth checking her out. Hope it's been a great day for yous all. I see a lot of yous are doing the Halloween Q&As on the feed. I haven't got a nomination yet. Too busy doing these blogs. Which I love doing. It's fun watching a film everyday and talk about it for yous all. As well as my favourite cosplays.
Playing more of Control today. It is so awesome and makes me excited for Alan Wake 2. It's so close. Was meant to go out for dinner again tonight but it got cancelled since my Mum is under the weather. She is better now. Be out for a walk tomorrow and be cooking Lasagne on Friday. Luckily it's Ragu & Béchamel sauce I've frozen from the last time I cooked Lasagne, which was a few weeks ago now. So only little things to get. Which is great. Since shopping in supermarkets can be a real pain. But we get the job done me and my folks. Least we get rewarded with my awesome cooking haha.
So yeah that's another Halloween Watchlist done. Glad yous all enjoying it and I see I got new followers too. Must be doing something right lol. Thank you for choosing to follow me guys and gals.
