Introduction
Sometimes I have a hard time catching up with everything going on with SG . Every day theirs a new set, a blog, a livestream or someone got a Set Of The Day. It's like that with social media too. I do my best to catch up. Sometimes I have to free up a day to review some sets that are recently on Members Review. And I do my best. I know it is like that with a lot of yous too. Since we all have lives, other jobs and taking an offline break for some alone time. That's why in my post on my Instagram and my blogs here I do say no pressure a lot. Since I understand. Cause written up the blogs I do and the post I do on my Instagram fan account, takes time. Usually my blogs are a week project. Since I think of what to write, brainstorming ideas. It's like a novelist coming up with ideas for his or her next book. I'm the same with my blogs & post. Since I love to do them justice. I'm usually like that, I go all in. I never half ass anything. It's the spectrum within me you know. I just love to work hard. Hints why my blogs are big and detailed. Like my post/stories on Instagram. I always do my best with every model and photographer I support. Since I want to help them. Especially the ones on here who I have made mates with.
I think everyone knows how hard I work, it shows since my blogs are big. Since I got inspired by @xheartswornx blog work and btw welcome back Xander, we bloody miss you mate. So I've done the same with my own back in 2018 and here I am three years later, continue to improve and being apart of this awesome site. Blogging about models and photographers that deserve appreciation & support. Cause why not, also it's fun to do.
I've gotten a lot of awesome support back in my time blogging on SG. And one of them is actually everyone at SG HQ. Their all good people and had great convos with. I have talked to almost all of them except for Sean since he's probably a busy bloke & all. I don't know, I'm just a fan who writes about his favourite models and photographers on this site for fun & giving positive vibes. Usually I'm just guessing most of the time lol. But I have talk to everyone else from SG HQ in my time here. Their all awesome people and fans of my blog series. Some of them are followers of mine, true story. It does mean a lot and can't thank them all enough. Especially @rambo since she was actually one of the first ones that I talk to from SG HQ and she did a great job with this site. I got nothing but respect for her as well as everyone at SG HQ. Seriously, their support means a lot. Especially since I have been open about my struggles with mental health a lot. And even though Rambo has retired from her position. I do want to thank her for being a supporter of mine on my first blogs when I learn how to actually tag on here lol. It means a lot. She really did a lot for the site and I wish her nothing but the best.
Luckily her replacement is today's Appreciation Blog pick. I've been a fan of hers for a good while and she is also so awesome. Very kind, caring and very supportive. And she is doing such an awesome job. But I always knew she would be. She is multi talented and very hard working. She definitely earns everything she gotten. A true workhorse. Not only a model but she is also a photographer, a SG staff member, a podcaster, on Twitch and basically has travelled to nearly every shootfest since I've started on SG. And still has time to comment & chat to people on here too. Probably one of the hardest working people on SG imo. So an Appreciation Blog for her is long overdue. I was going to last year but I was dealing with my mental health at the time as a lot of my long time readers/followers know. But I'm happy to be doing it now.
So today's pick is none other than the lovely @penny

Again this one was a long time coming. Happy to do it now. I got nothing but love and respect for Penny. Not only hard working like I mentioned but she is such a beautiful woman both in & out. Always so supportive to everyone on the site. Hell she even mentioned me in her own blogs too. Especially This One
Me and her are alike, except I'm a guy lol. But personality wise we are alike. We are both hard working, we're goths, we're into the same music, She collects vinyls where I collect CDs, we support Alt Models, into photography, we're video gamers and so on. Basically we are kinda like twins in a way lol. The only difference besides our gender is, I haven't played D&Ds at all. I actually wanted to get into tabletop rpgs. But I never had mates that are into it. I was into trading cards one time with my old mate. We used to collect pokemon trading cards. It was quite cool and I regret giving it away since I love to show off my deck to yous guys but I don't anymore. I do have the Gwent cards from my The Witcher 3 collector's edition though. It's pretty dope.
She is also into the same TV shows as me. Another Buffy fan. Any Buffy fan is a friend of mine lol. Also she is into Lost Girl, which is an underrated show. Kensi is my girl lol. Also shows like Mindhunter, I love the first season of that show. It's on Netflix btw folks and I highly recommend it. It's so good. It's like a David Fincher movie, only in TV show form. Makes sense since David produce it I think. So yeah awesome taste Penny as always.
Her favourite video games are Borderlands series, Castlevania, Skyrim, The Last Of Us, Devil May Cry, etc. A lot of my favourites too.
Her favourite bands/artist is basically the same as me. AFI, Amon Amarth, Brand New, Coheed And Cambria, HIM, Korn, Lacuna Coil (Also @missjcristina favourite band), Meshuggah, New Order, Placebo, Rammstein, The Birthday Massacre (One of my all time favourite bands, get in!!), Deftones, Type O Negative and so many more. Yeah so many just like me. Seriously did we become best friends? To quote Step Brothers lol.
Basically we are into the same thing and kinda the same person but I can say that about all of the models I support. That's the coolest thing about SG and Alt Models in general, we are alike. Which is so freakin cool lol.
I mean there is so much to love about Penny. I usually do my best to see how she is and see her work. I wish I could sub to her OnlyFans too, if it wasn't for my damn bank blocking payment on the site since they had fraud cases from it, true story. I did said many times I never had problems with OnlyFans since I was supporting my SG mates on there and supporting their content you know. I may try again. Cause I do miss subscribing to my favourites & having good convos with them. I know there's no pressure for me to do that since my model mates always talk to me. I'm one of the exceptions since they love my support and my hard work. Also I'm just a neat guy and a love machine...lol quoting from Friends, @rare will get it haha.

So yeah there's a lot to love about Penny. And her sets on there are another reason why. Both as a model and photographer. So I'm covering most of her modelling sets & sets she shot as a photographer too. So I'll be talking about her modelling sets as usual in my Appreciation Blog series. And I'll do a Hopeful Highlight style Highlights of my favourite sets she shot as a photographer on this site. I'm sure you'll like my picks as always.

I think everyone knows that Penny sets are usually Sets Of The Day. No wonder too, their all awesome and beautiful. Like the woman herself. She is a queen alright. Luckily not the Tiger King cause we all know what happen to that guy, I don't know if yous saw the doc on Netflix. I recommend it and beware, it's nuts. I still can't believe those exotic cats are in the hands of those people. I actually watched it and felt like I need a cool shower afterwards cause it got mental but those people are mental. So surreal but that's my opinion which I think we all feel the same. I usually don't watch Docs much. I hate things too real you know. I rather watch Scrubs, Buffy, Friends, Supernatural, South Park, Grimm, Firefly, etc. I'm currently watching the arrowverse atm. That's shows like Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends Of Tomorrow, etc. DC Comics. I love to start Gotham soon, do hear that's a good show. But yeah I could go on, I always talk geek stuff. Even on my blogs here but I know yous love that since yous are into the same stuff. As I mentioned, I know Penny is into that. She has awesome taste since it is so similar to mine. So back on topic, this set is awesome. I believe this was at the SG Australia shootfest at January last year I believe. I should know since Coolicio did the photography. Yeah another Coolicio shot set in this one of Penny. This time with a model that I will do an Appreciation Blog of in the near future too. Arachnie. And this is one of the many multi sets Penny shot. And one that should be a Set Of The Day. It's beautiful like the ladies themselves. I think this was at the SG Australia shootfest last year too. I love that it is set around nature. Especially since I'm getting into photography myself and love shooting nature in my walks. I show it off in my recent In General blog and there's lots of great shots of the place I go for walks. I'm lucky I live in Scotland, I'm surrounded by nature. The Countryside, the highlands, beaches, etc. All that good stuff. It's a peaceful hobby to have. Since I don't like being surrounded by crowds in towns & cities due to my social anxiety but I love being out in easygoing peaceful places. So if I was doing photography of the models, it would be in nature. Like something out of Zelda you know. Also plenty of Resident Evil cosplay sets haha. But I love nature photography since it's great and it's apart of my walks. So this set is great for that but also their both beautiful. So it deserves to be Set Of The Day. Lol kidding of course, sorry couldn't resist haha. I love Airplane, one of my favourite comedies. Yeah I always got my sense of humour lol, all part of being Scottish. Also I'm just a nerd who quotes from films & TV shows a lot. But anyways, this is yet another awesome set from Penny. Shot by Marysa, who did a great job as always. You know, I never had black coffee before. I usually have it with milk. I actually love it with dairy free milk, I think it does add flavour and also I hate having too much dairy. I'm trying to cut down but when you live with parents who love to feed me a feast fit for a king. Quite hard lol. But I have getting better at cutting down, especially I want to keep in shape for my walks and the gym once it opens cause I do love to go swimming again. But I don't think I'll cut out coffee, no way lol. I love my boost of caffeine. Just like I love this set of Penny. Which is Set Of The Day btw and rightfully so, it is awesome and beautiful. I talked about this Set Of The Day set so many times now and yeah I'm talking about it again. I'll keep it short since I have talked about it a lot. It is one of my favourite Multi sets on here. And also both Penny & Marlene are two of my all time favourites. They always deserve Set Of The Days cause their awesome people and are so supportive. Both beautiful in and out. Also Chinaski is one of my favourite photographers ever, his work and himself needs his own Appreciation Blog. Always top notch work from him like these ladies. Another set shot by Coolicio here. Just another reason why she is one of my favourite photographers. This is a great cosplay set from Penny. Good old Deadpool. Probably my favourite from Marvel. I'm more into DC Comics but I do love Marvel for Deadpool, Spiderman and X-Men. Love the Deadpool films and also the video game too. I don't know anyone else who has played the video game, it is so awesome. I highly recommend it. You can get it on the PS4, Xbox One, etc. It is a solid funny game. I enjoyed it. Shame it isn't getting talked about much. Hope it does cause it is a great game. Like the films as well as this cosplay set from Penny. Also it's another reminder that I need to get more Deadpool comics. I do enjoy reading them. Like I enjoy reading the blogs on here. I do my best to catch up with Penny's blogs & post. She does go into detail like myself. I think it's great we can write blogs on here and that, this site has much to offer and it's just brilliant. Like this set. Another awesome multi set from Penny here. This time with Milenci, another model I love to write an Appreciation Blog one day. She is always beautiful like Penny here and I'm glad this is Set Of The Day too. They sure love donuts alright. You know, I actually haven't had a donut in ages. Here in the UK, we have a food chain called Greggs and they usually sale bakes stuff like that. I remember I used to have Greggs all the time and actually got donuts a lot. It was good. I love salted caramel donuts since I love caramel. But I'm easily pleased tbh. I have a big appetite so I can eat a feast lol. I could win those food challenges in Man vs Food but I choose life haha. But yeah this is such a great set, easily to see why it is Set Of The Day. Both always deserve it. Check it out!!

Well are you? I'm not. Lol jk. This set is reference to the old Nickelodeon show back in the 90's. Which is Are You Afraid Of The Dark. Which is basically like the kid version of The Twilight Zone. I watched it all the time back when I was a kid. Even when I had mates sleeping over as a kid, we had our own Midnight Society. Telling not really stories, just random stories that's full of bollocks for a laugh lol. Yeah good old days. But yeah it was a good show. Even though The Twilight Zone is a way better Horror Anthology tv show. Love to buy the Blu Rays one day. Also I discovered an Anthology show called "Beyond Belief: Fact Or Fiction" hosted by Jonathan Flakes. And it's unintentionally funny due to the Jonathan Flakes memes like this one.....
Seriously I could watch these for days, too funny lol. I wish their was more Anthology shows. Be cool to see. Especially about Creepypasta stories. But yeah those shows were brilliant. I was more into Goosebumps since it was on Fox Kids and I was watching that more than Nickelodeon. Also Disney Afternoons. Any Gargoyles fans? That was my favourite. Btw Jonathan Frakes did voice overs in the show too, true story. So yeah nostalgia memories from me there. So one of the reasons why I love this set from Penny, also she's beautiful and it's well shot. As always from Writeboy. Easy to see why it's Set Of The Day. Check it out.

I take it you have named this after from one of my favourite ever albums from one of my favourite bands ever Penny. Yeah why not? Deftones - White Pony is a masterpiece. Much like this set from Penny. I actually have the t shirt of Deftones - White Pony. No joke and also no joke is that I am wearing it when I type this in my Korn beanie too. I love beanies, beanies are cool. Yeah that's my usual get up. Band shirts/hoodies, beanie hats, jeans and walking boots mostly. That's my fashion sense for ya lol. But yeah, Deftones - White Pony is one of the best albums ever. From tunes like Digital Bath, Knife Party, Passenger, Change, Back To School (Mini Maggot), etc. It is just brilliant. But Deftones never released a bad album. Must like Penny never releases bad sets, imo there are no bad sets on SG. Since everyone works hard on their sets. Whatever if their modelling or doing the photography or both if it's a self shot set. They all work hard, like I'm sure it is for the members here too with what yous do in your own life. It's good to keep busy. I know I have like Penny. This is just another top notch set from her and yet another Set Of The Day for Penny. Check it out if yous missed it!!

Here is Penny in another awesome multi set. With the lovely Kahlia. And trust me, these two images above are the only SFW ones cause it is saying something. It is Set Of The Day for a reason after all. Like all of Penny sets, it's awesome and beautiful. Also it's about Super Smash Bros too, so that's a bonus. I do enjoy the Smash games, some of my favourites. Even though I haven't played it with other people much since I haven't had many mates to play it. But it is awesome, especially the new one on the Switch. So awesome. I need to get the second Fighters Pass since I love to play as many characters as I can. That's the thing about the new Smash game, it is packed. So much fun. I definitely would host a Smash Night and have a wee tournament. Be quite cool post lockdown with my mates, it has been too long. Yet another awesome Set Of The Day from Penny. Shot by SmashBase who did an awesome job as always. I don't really have much to say about whistles, other than they really blow.....a little joke there lol. Yeah me with my sense of humour haha. Tbh I actually do think whistles are annoying, but I think my PE teacher back in the day abused it by doing it all the time. Also I used to be a big hardcore pro wrestling fan and was watching ECW. My favourite wrestler from ECW was actually Rob Van Dam. I always enjoy watching his matches. Especially with Jerry Lynn back in the day. They were incredible, same with Sabu as well. Also I'm a big Mick Foley fan too. I got many favourites back when pro wrestling was cool to watch. But the only downside to Rob Van Dam in ECW was he was with some skinny bloke with a whistle and he always uses it. Got so annoying. I think he was Rob's manager. And he was no Bobby The Brain Heenan or Jim Cornette, those are my favourite wrestling managers. I don't watch wrestling anymore since I can't stand how bland & boring pro wrestling is these days. Especially in WWE, they all talk like robots haha. I'm like bring back Stone Cold just stunning everyone and having a beer binge afterwards. Bring back badasses like that. Not dudes throwing pancakes and playing the trumpet lol. But that's just my thoughts. But my thoughts on this set is like old school pro wrestling. Haha yeah pretty much the Skywalker Saga in the nutshell lol jk. I enjoyed it tbh. Even the prequels I liked, even though I didn't like Phantom Menace & Attack Of The Clones was just ok. But Revenge Of The Sith, great film. That maybe one of my favourite Star Wars entries outside the original trilogy. Also I LOVE The Mandalorian, awesome show. Yous should watch it peeps, such a great show. I am hyped for the next one. Also can be agree that Baby Yoda maybe the most adorable thing ever, lol just a cool wee fella. Yeah I'm a pure softie, what can I say. Other than yous should check the show out like this set from Penny. All of her sets. So in all seriousness, Penny is a great photographer. She does truly helps out the models on here, the photographers and even members too. Like this guy. I'm happy she is Rambo's replacement & she is doing a good job. Like everyone over at SG HQ.
I'm happy to write this blog about Penny, it was in the works for some time. Long before she was a staff on this site. She is a top women. And I can't thank her enough for her support towards me. She is a MCM/WCW pick too on my Instagram fan account. Which you can check out HERE
Usually I'm nervous writing up these blogs about my favourite models. But I have been getting better since the support I get is just awesome. And I can't thank all of yous enough. It has kept me busy and also the reason I get up in the morning. Cause for a while I wasn't doing good with my mental health cause I was unhappy with my position in life. Running into brick walls, alone a lot of the times and not happy with my personal life. But I have made changes over the last few years. I learn a lot about my own mental health and know the steps I need to take. Think writing up these blogs definitely helps. Since at the same time, it helps another person too. I think I do feel better after helping someone out with just being positive you know. I'm always like that. And I'm always try to be cool with everyone. I sometimes don't react the way I want to due to getting emotional cause it happens due to my ASD. But I do my best to work it out. Cause I don't wish anyone a bad life. I want people to do well. I think when you suffer going through a bad spell like I have. You appreciate more of the littlest things.
I don't bet for going on Front Page, likes, follows or everyone to chat to me cause it's up to them. If they do, awesome and I am truly grateful. I think I just appreciate any positives in my life. Cause I came from being dead poor and I am poor since I don't get enough money since I'm on benefits. I'm not saying this for attention or anything. My point is, I just appreciate the positives. Like good hard working people who their hard work is paying off. Like with Penny, it has paid off for her. Like the hopefuls that turned pink recently like @gnomi @rare @narublu and @diamant it paid off. And I am happy for them. Cause their good friends to me and supporters of mine. Like I am of theirs.
