My computer should be back up sometime this week, dell is sending someone out to replace my motherboard(although I don't have a confirmed day yet). So that is some good news. On a more aggrivating front: I was doing a little side work for a production company because I really need the extra cash for the past couple of days. This is mostly setting up staging, and lights for a country concert. I was told before the gig started that I was getting paid by a day rate($100 per day), and I have bills due(ok past due) and said ok. First day was alot of grunt work, but not too bad. I got there at 12pm, and worked until about 8 that evening; not too shabby for a hundred bucks. Then comes "day" two. I am told the previous evening to get there at 7am(which I do), and then I worked all day, and all night thereafter. I got there at 7am, and did not leave until almost 4:30am the following morning! sweet zombie christ people wtf!?! And yes, this was all for the low low price of $100 for the WHOLE day as well.what is that $4 an hour? I feel so used
.

I need to call Dell before my service contract expires. Either my hard drive or a fan gets louder as the machine works harder, as expected. But when it is back to idle the noise continues unless I reboot or hibernate and come back. I usually reboot when the noise gets so bad I can't think of anything else.
