So March is creeping up and I am preparing for another trip to Bangkok, Thailand to attend the annual Wai Khru Buddhist Sak Yant Tattoo festival held at Wat Bang Phra. My good friend Rob Deut introduced me to Wai Khru and it forever changed my life. I get tattooed by Hlwong Pi Phaew
Here are some photos I took last year while at Wat Bang Phra during the Wai Khru. What you are seeing is the trance induced possession of various spirits and animals achieved through the chanting of the monks.
