Not even 2pm and already I am dissapointed with my day. My washed up day.
I went to work to make up for the time I missed this week because of my wreck. Then I went and test drove used, shitty cars for over three hours. Do you know how many used car places are on 82nd? I drove by scanning lots for a price no higher than $1,500, carefully lest I wreck my pristine rental car. Out of all the cars I drove, only the first one seemed good. I wish I would have just stopped there.
Fed up and frusterated with slick used car salesmen named Rick and their small talk, I decided to go get some cigarettes and head home for nappy time. I stopped at a cigarette store and they were out of my brand. The guy behind the counter actually pulled out some other kind and asked if I'd like "to test drive" it. No kidding. Like the fumes from all the cars I drove today, it made me gag.
It was a relief to come home and find that my new bathroom rug hadn't sprouted mold and that my kitten was still only carrying one head. I wouldn't have been surprised otherwise on this mediocre day.
