New MSI CD! Yay! I am going to see them near the end of May! Yay again!
Spring quarter is FLYING by! Wow! I can't believe how my life just flies by sometimes. I feel like my childhood was long, but as soon as I hit my teen years life has just gone by in a flash! I'll be 23 in 11 days! How did that happen???
I have to give a lecture/seminar this coming Tuesday for my Evolutionary Theory class and I am freaking out! I still have TONS of research to get done and I absolutely loath talking in front of people! I will be so happy when Tuesday is over!
So this is dorky of me . . . I was sitting out side of a coffee shop with my roommate yesterday enjoying some sunshine and people watching. I noticed one of the other people sitting outside is a prof that has a lab down the hall from the one I work in. I see him in the halls pretty often or at the occasional colloquium. Anyway, he saw me and smiled and walked over and said "Hi, you work in Jeannie's lab, right?" I said I did and he introduced himself and said he hoped I was enjoying my weekend and all. I know it's really silly, but I was so excited! I am always amazed when people remember me from anywhere. I am generally too freaked out to talk to profs so it was awesome he talked to me! Yay! I guess maybe it's good for me that I am one of the only undergrads wandering around the 4th floor (all labs and grad offices) and the colloquiums.
I really feel like taking a nap. I haven't really got much useful done today. I did some light cleaning and went on a bike ride, but that is about all. I hate having HW hanging over my head, but I am also pretty bad at motivating myself to get things done early. Bleh.
