. . .still moving . . .
Tomorrow is our absolute last day to move things. We have some work ahead of us, but i will be so happy to be completely moved into the new place. Everything we need will be in one place. Well . . .we still need a toaster (i like toast!).
One week of summer school down! I am actually really enjoying it so far! I think I may actually be sad when it is over. Although, I have not yet taken a test or quiz so we shall see if my opinion changes come monday (quiz on that day). I like having a tiny class even though that means I am forced to talk in class occasionally (I usually dread that). The prof is pretty spiffy and I like him. He is a grad student rather than a prof so I guess maybe that makes him cooler haha He always has interesting, strange information and I love that sort of thing. Then I can share my fun facts with people later. Yay!
I still have no pictures of my red hair. I ought to work on that before it fades.
Oh! My bestest friend, Kimby, visited Lauren and I this week! She brought along a friend of her's (Tuoko, possibly spelled that wrong) who is visiting her from Finland. Kimby is the one that introduced me to Ville (the dude I stayed with in Kuopio). She has many Finnish friends. I had a great time seeing her! Tuoko was rather quiet, but still a pretty cool dude. He sounded sort of New Zealand-ish (English, Finnish, New Zealish??? How do you add "ish" to New Zealand???) when he spoke English. Kim informs me he lived there (or spent some time there). Fun times! Kim get to go to Finland in January for a visit and I wish I could go (alas, I will be in school).
I want to travel. Right now.
Oh, I picked a new book. "Sons and Lovers" by D.H. Lawrence. So far so good. I hope to finish it by monday.
Sadly, I got a sunburn. I usually slather myself with looooooooooads of sunscreen (spf 50) to keep from burning. I guess i didn't put on enough the other day because some evil little sun beams made it to my oh-so light skin and gave it a nice burning. I also got some new freckles out of the deal. I tend to get them in the summer time (mostly on my arms and sholders).
I have no pictures for this blog. Quel dommage!
Lauren and I were talking earlier that we ought to make some friends (aside from eachother) in SC. Well, anywhere really! I have become a bit of a shut-in. Anyone wanna be friends? haha
I think I am going to go read a bit or go to bed. Lots to do tomorrow!
Nighty Night!
P.S. Tomorrow night is a blue moon!
