Quick lil blog-a-roo before I have to rush off to school! 
1. The Beginning of Something Great!
My dear former housemate, Emily, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on May 30th! Her name is Camelia Mae and she's awesome! We were the first people to visit her. She's the youngest person I've ever held! (She even barfed on me a bit)
2. The Great House-Hunt Adventure!
So this morning we all had an appointment with a lady from the townhomes (near UCSC). We wanted to see the inside of one of the places and also see what was available and when. The lady had previously told JM that there were several 2 bed/2 bath places open in mid June (which is exactly what we want). However, when we get there the lady says there are only 2 bed/ 1 bath (lame!) and they won't be free until mid JULY (we'd be homeless for half a month). Anyway, we looked at them just to see. They were SOOOOOOOO small! You could hardly turn around in the kitchen. One of the bedrooms had a fairly large closet, but the other one was about the size of a prison cell and sans closet!
Townhome = No thanks ma'am!
We all went home feel a lil shitty about out lack of housing. However, JM decided to try the local newspaper website for the millionth time just to see and he found a 3 bd/ 2bth VICTORIAN (I am excited about Victorian houses, can't you tell?) for only $1,800 (still alot, but I live in Santa Cruz, what are ya gunna do?). We all freaked out with excitement! Jm called the lady and she said we could come look at it on saturday. We all droev by and looked in the window anyway. IT HAS A BATHTUB WITH FEET! I waaaaaaaaaant it! We all have to fill out applications and have good credit and all. I have no job, but I have some moneys so I hope that is alright. I don't really want the 'rents to have to co-sign, but we may have to. We shall see come saturday!

3. Oh-Shit-It's-The-End-Of-The-Quarter Time!
Yes folks, it's almost over! I have a lot of crud to get done because I usually make a point of putting all my work off the the last minute! I am so very good at it!
One of my o-so-"special" housemates has decided the weekend before finals is GREAT time to throw a huge, loud ass party (which are forbiden in out lease). Right. Good plan. The rest of the house is pissed, but will allow her to do it because we don't want to fight her (it's her birthday blah blah). Personally, I am glad I will not be in Santa Cruz (going to Modesto) for this potential problem.

when you come home i'm going to BFD. i close this friday and then i close on sunday. saturday is the concert. maybe we can find some time in between to hang out.
