Hope everyone had a lovely 4th of July!


I drank lots of beer and sangria with a few friends. I am pretty sure the 4th is a holiday for drinking and setting shit on fire now days. I did half of that.

My fiance called me a few hours ago to let me know that there is a chance he'll get leave TODAY!! If he does it will probably take him until saturday to actually make it to CA after all of the various flights he'll have to take. I am so excited!! I have not seen him in 9 months!!! I love him so much!! I can't wait!!

I just wanna lay around with him! I suppose we'll have to throw the BBQ that he insists on every time he's home. I must admit, I do enjoy a JM BBQ. Last time he got drunk and did a lovely brakedance to Led Zeppelin. Then we all had a glow stick rave in the pool in the dark. JM had some how "aquired" around 200 glow sticks . . .

I hope we will also tear ourselves away from the sex to get some pictures taken. I am very excited about finally having pics of the two of us!

Oh! In other new, I have quite an interest in one day visiting Finland. I told my dear friend, Kimby, about it and she happens to have a few friends in Finland (she met via the internet). She told one of them about me and my interest in Finland so he e-mailed me! I was very excited to hear from him! He even sent me some psych articles because Kim told him about my interest in psychology. I am really excited to talk to him!!

Seems as though things are going well at the moment. Although, I do need to drag my ass outa bed in the AM for work tomorrow. Lame. However, money is good.

New sushi place opened up by my house . . .I must go there . . .

I am going to go read a little bit. I just started As I Lay Dying by Faulkner. I am enjoying it so far. Reading makes my brain happy.

I hope JM gets leave!!!
