1/19: What do you appreciate most from the models and/or members on SuicideGirls?
When I joined SuicideGirls as a hopeful back in September, I did it with the goal of connecting with new peers in other communities. I have also already been modeling for quite some time, so I wanted to work with some new photographers and other models. I especially wanted to integrate it with my travels.
What I didn’t expect was to find community right away, in my own backyard!
Our local SG community in St. Louis is special. I have never seen more mutual encouragement out of a group of women than I have in this group. When we are together, we work quickly, we solve problems, and we present on a united front wherever we go.
I sing this song by Qveen Herby all the time now! But she says:

What I also like is, these days, it feels like I’m always seeing these ladies at a photoshoot, or we’re collaborating in some way, even outside of SG! I met @jadestone a couple of years ago during a local photography event, and I was buck nekkid and pomegranates were covering up the goods. 😂
@leeleefox and I have also met at several shoots. But we have yet to shoot together! Hopefully that changes this year!
@angeladawn and @rhoxieredd have become fast friends! They are otherworldly in their caring and giving nature.
@madilynn and I were in a movie together! Can you find us on the poster? We’ve also shot together a couple of times! She is that true cool renegade that I aspire to be when I grow up! Plus, she took some beautiful pictures in my house, go check those out!
In short, you ladies are the best part of SuicideGirls, and I can’t wait to see our shining futures!
