Earlier this evening while walking through the kitchen I noticed one of my cats staring at the floor. Being curious I also had to kneel down to see what the hell he was looking at. To my surprise it was a ladybug!
I have no idea how this adorable little bug ended up in my kitchen (my guess is that it rode in on my mini pinscher) but I was able to save it before the cat ate/pawed it to death. Is this a sign of good luck? I'm hoping this means I got the job at Sacred Heart.
I also have a developed a fondness for bleeding hearts (the flower that is). I'm seeing so many different types of plants here in Oregon that I've never seen in California (due to the heat) and I'm loving it. I want to pull them off thier little stems and dissect them but I refrain. I've decided instead to plant them all over the yard to I can admire them any time I want.
