So a few years ago I fostered a litter of three kittens through the pet store. There were four in the litter but the owners decided to keep one. The three I had were 2 grey and white males (John Grady Cole and Rawlins) and 1 all grey female (Alejandra - Ollie for short). The whole litter had short ears from being born outside in Wisconsin in November. They were sick for I don't know how many months and all the traditional and more natural (like chinese herb) medications/treatments in the world couldn't seem to help them. Alejandra and Rawlins finally got better and found homes but Grady was still sick and eventually the store said that they were going to put him down if I didn't keep him. Of course, I kept him.
A year or so ago, I saw a kitty who looked almost identical to Grady at the local humane society. At first I thought it was Rawlins. Later I found out it was the fourth kitten the owners had decided to "keep." At the time, my boyfriend (of the time) had just lost his cat and decided to give this fourth littermate a home and name him Cash (like Johnny Cash).
Now, two years after originally fostering the kitties...
Someone called the pet store the other day saying their son had gotten a cat from us a couple years ago and wanted to bring her back. No clue on the cat's litter number, health records, etc. However, with short little ears on a grey little body it wasn't too hard to figure out that this was Alejandra. So she got spayed today and she's currently back at the pet store resting. I haven't even seen her yet -- my manager said she's a petite little thing, weighing only 4 or 5 pounds.
I want her back so badly.
Now I just have to convince my mom to let me have her. I don't know if it's going to happen and I feel so childish begging my mom for this cat at 18. But I want Ollie back so badly....the whole litter was made up of the sweetest cats ever and I just can't be happy with some stranger taking care of her again. I was so, so excited when I heard about Ollie being back and now I just feel bad that I can't take her home tomorrow or possibly ever.
But there's not much more to say about that so here are some kitten pictures of Alejandra:

In other news...
I took off work Friday (tomorrow) so I could go shopping downtown with Theresa. This was planned for at least a week. I got yelled at by Mark for switching my Friday shift with Angela's Sunday shift because he doesn't want Angela getting too stressed out since she's working two jobs and have her quit Smoky's. Then Theresa went to go spend "a couple days" with her parents on Monday. "A couple days" turned into a week and tonight she called to say she can't go shopping with me tomorrow. So great, I have a useless day off with nothing to do and no one to see. And there's stuff I actually need to buy downtown so now it looks like I'll be shopping by myself.
Also, too many men are assholes and I'm getting sick of them. No, random customer at Smoky Jon's, I will not take my shirt off (you asshole). I don't get paid nearly enough to do that.
However...
I did see an ad today in a newspaper asking for a nude female model for an art project. Model's face will not be revealed, you don't have to have any prior experience, and they pay is $300 for one day. Even though they want curves (Derek always told me I have an hourglass figure, but I'm really not all that curvey) I'm seriously considering giving this person a call tomorrow just in case. I would be horribly nervous but I do want to do nude modeling and I could definately use an extra $300.

umm, yeah, assholes .. that's a nice word for it.
Like I said, I don't think you're curvy, but you probably have an hour glass figure. That just means that your chest and ass are the same proportions and that you have a tiny waist compared to your chest and your ass. I still think the ad in the paper sounds really shady though. Like the female bath attendents ones. You could do nude modeling for the art school. They usually need people to pose for the drawing classes.
