Theresa* called me about an hour ago. Apparently she got kicked out of her parents' house (I didn't ask why) and was asking if she could stay at my house for a bit. I asked my mom (yes, I still live at home with my mom
) who said it was okay with her. So tomorrow Theresa's going to call me and then come over. She'll probably be staying here for at least a month and I'd assume she'll be sleeping in the basement on the futon.
I'm really happy I get to see her again. I'm a little bit cautious about why she got kicked out --- I'm mainly worried that she might have a bad problem with drugs again. Hopefully that's not the case. Her parents aren't the most understanding people in the world anyway though, so it's not like it would take something extreme to kick her out. She is working full-time (so I assume that means she's dropped out of high school, but at least she's working.) She wants to move into a place of her own but just has to get her funds together and everything.
But yeah, now I am excited for seeing her tomorrow
Hopefully we won't get really sick of each other or anything.
*She was a really close friend of mine back in elementary school. Then her parents moved out to one of those stupid little suburb towns and I never really got to see her. We've hung out a few times in Middle and High school and we still get along great and everything, we just haven't gotten to see too much of each other.

That sucks that her parents threw her out. Good luck on the getting along thing. It can be really hard to live with friends sometimes. But it's not like you're sharing a room or anything so maybe it will be easier.

You're nice.
