So I got my test results from the clerk typist test back today.
I only got a 76% on the grammar part, but I'm still one of the 86 final rank candidates. Not only that, but somehow even with getting 76% and there being 86 other qualified people, I rank #20. How I'm in the top 25% confuses me, but I won't argue.
My typing speed was 55 wpm which is horrible for me (I was getting 76 wpm the night before the test), but it's still above their 35 wpm minimum requirement.
So now hopefully those 19 people before me will magically drop dead and I'll get called tomorrow and they'll tell me that they decided to just skip the interview and hire me.
Ha!

Click on the Linkcat Library catalogue thing in the upper lefthand corner. I'd suggest searching with key words. Here's what I found searching with job interview. You can click on the individual books, and it'll tell you where the book is. You click on "request item" and enter the number on your library card (only the last nine digits; not the 29078 part) and then request the book to be sent to Lakeview, and they'll email you or call you when it comes in. There's no limit on how many books you can check out, and you get them for four weeks and can renew them for another four weeks if no one else has a hold on them.
