Yesterday was Caylee's funeral. I cried from the moment it started until long after it ended. I was thinking of writing a letter to the Anthony's, because though I don't agree with the way they've defended their daughter Casey, I know their pain. I know the all too familiar sting of losing a child, having those "what could have beens" stripped away forever. That hole, it never heals. I admire George Anthony the most, for what he said yesterday at his Grand Daughter's funeral that we've waited 6 long months for.
"Now is a time for rebirth. It's a new normal for us in our family. There's no such thing as what it used to be. There's a new normal every single day".
Its hard to stand back up after losing your child, your baby. After putting someone you love unlike any other into the ground. Caylee will always be remembered. And now, it's time to heal.
