i could never stop having sex for five years. i actually did stop for almost a year though. i didn't want to give college boys the pleasure of my company. they aren't deserving. i've tried to calm down my ego a bit since then.

i enjoyed reading your facts. i want more.

I sit alone in my room. The sound the ticking of a clock, the concerto of time passing. Memories of where I've been, anticipation of where I am going, the trepidation of where I am.

The smell of brewing coffee in the air, the beginnig of another day. What will it bring? I fear the unknown, but the fear runs through me like an electric...

Hey---

I want to be a bright light in a world of darkness. I swear, I don't want to be negative in anyway, honest i don't. There are so many GREAT things happening around me right now. But there is still some dark clouds, and that makes me sad.

First and foremost it looks like this site is in it's death throes. I will admit...

Despair is the shortest path between two points...

Or is it Hope.....

This was a big movie week-end for me. I saw Aeon Flux Saturday afternoon. I was VERY disapointed. Then I saw The Ice Harvest Saturday night. Very dark...but a good movie. Then this morning I saw the new Woody Allen movie, Match Point Didn't really like it. Way too long....

I'm feeling lost...

The movie was a flop.....I really wanted to see it!
dharmabox:
hey still looking to hang out sometime, sounds like you could use a little company yourself? i'll have to tell you what my oldest did this past weekend ala something like what you got. teenager's, they got it all figured out.

i went to see ice harvest on saturday, one of my first real outings. maybe it was just the chance at being out but i enjoyed it, but i tend to like dark movies.

i would echoe what cheech has to say about myspace. i am finding more and more sg people migrating there, i guess in the event that if they decide to leave here, they can still keep up with their friends. it is really klunky and kind of goofy but the price is right.

Hey----

Happy Day after everyone. did everybody have a great day? Mine was good, small and non-contraversal. I think that is one of te great things about my family, we are able to put our differences and idiosyncracies behind us when the need be.

Did anybody here actually get up at to go to Walmart at 5 am to save a few bucks. I just...

Thanksgiving went all right I guess. Parents. Siblings. Lots and lots of random strangers.

Yep.

I am definitely one of those people who hates the holidays with a passion. Then again, I don't really celebrate them, so I guess it's not a big deal. Ah well. The things you most expect to turn out badly have a way of being better than you expect, at least four out of five times... That's been my experience, anyway.

Glad to hear your Thanksgiving went well... See ya.
dharmabox:
my mom went out and did nothing but complain about it for the rest of the day so she sent my dad out instead. i though that was rather igenious on her part. he wants to be fed so he does what she tells him..... surreal

btw got your email, hope all works out better than it sounds. i know all about them hitting those teenage years!

Hey---

Nothing has really happened to me since the last time i updated. Did you find anything interesting about me in the last entry? I'm not really ALL that uninteresting, i'm just "older", and we tend to be invisible at this stage of life.

Isn't it really funny? It seems that through most of our childhood we are "unseen" . You know..."children should be seen...

Hey---

All I got to say is Karma is a bitch. The problam is I can't figure out what I did to PISS off the fates so bad. Let's start with the "simple" run up to atlantic city to see The Dropkick Murphys ended up cotsting me over 400.00. I was gone approx. 36 hours. Just as I accepted the fact I spent way too...

Yep. I missed the 70s, sort of. I was born right at the end of it, in 79. And yep, I'm well aware of the fact that I missed out on a LOT of really interesting stuff... Most of the music I love and cherish was made right around the end of that decade. Art, music, literature... It seems like everything that happened before I was born is in some way superior to everything that's been produced afterwards...

Not to say that good stuff doesn't come around anymore, because it does, and on a daily basis... It just seems like there's so much crap out there now, people are forced to look for "it" a bit harder now... Dig a little deeper.

Then again, "digging" for lost musical gems and out of print books never hurt anyone. I'm sure that, somewhere along the line, even the most obscure things have admirers and people to keep things rolling and I sleep soundly at night, aware of that fact.

Then again, in 20 years, someone might bring back the whole Britney Spears/boy-band thing... Sometimes it works against you, I guess. Ah well... Sorry about your car and water heater. The WH here seems like it's about to die as well... Nothing like taking cold showers, in a cold house with no heat, when it's freezing outside... Yep.

I'm sure the Murphys were worth it, though...

wink
_chris_:
Of course PiL is awesome. John Lydon/Johnny Rotten? One of the greatest geniuses to ever grace mankind. Come on... "Legend" has it that the man went around London wearing a Pink Floyd shirt with the words "I hate" scribbled on the front, which led to his being "discovered" by Malcolm Mclaren. Or so I've heard anyway...

That being said, I DO like Pink Floyd, though not as much as PiL. Definitely not as much as I dig the Sex Pistols.

THAT being said... The Clash and Joy Division never fail to make my day...

Hope all is well. Talk to ya later.

HEY----

Well, I survived my first trip to Atlantic City, barely. I think it will be quite sometime before I go again. My observations...AC is a city built for people who really have no other life. Mostly people who are a lot older than me, and that's saying something. I mean in a way it is really cool, but It's just not for me. I...

When I was young I liked the (penny) slots in England. Now, I'd say I'd purely stick to roulette and horses... not that I ever really gamble. I watch the big horse races on TV, and roulette looks neat.
dharmabox:
yeah i am not a big gambler either. just though the slots can be addictive.

200 miles on 2 hours? that would be a lot of loud singing with the windows wide open and the coldest i could get the a/c
