HACK/SLASH MOVIE UPDATE.
I don't know if you all have been following the development of this movie as closely as i have..but it is a near obsession with me. Only the AMC adaptation of The Walking Dead graphic as a weekly series is close.
But I Digress...here is the newest from the HACK/SLASH movie front. The Script is coplete and casting is started. Of course Rouge pictures was purchased by Relativity Media...so I'm not sure how this will affect production, but Relativity has deeper pockets than Rouge did so maybe this is a good thing. Anyway...here are the front runners for Cassie and Vlad. I know all you horny guys wanted wanted Megan Fox ( I didn't) to play Cassie, but it looks like the front runner is Kat Dennings. I think she can pull off the moodiness of Cassie, I'm just not convinced she is tough enough. As Vlad, and this is a perfect choice I never thought of...Michael Clarke Duncan. I mean in the book is race is kind of amibiguos, he is actually kind of green, so yes when i think of it this is a great choice. The only other character to be cast, and this is kind of susprising...Cassie's mother, the first slasher she fights, will probaly be Shirley MacClain. I know...weird, don't know if i like this or even if she would do a low budget flick. We will see. Well...all this talk of Comics has got me itching for some new books, so I'm off to the shop to get some. Just one more thing for you comic Geeks. I've never been a real Marvel comics fan. I'm not really into Super Heroes...but I am starting to get into Dead Pool. Of course I think this is just because Ryan Reynolds is playing him in the movie. Tell me, am I a sell out? Well, I hope everyones Holiday was good. please..if you get board hit me up. I love debating/discussing comics/movies/music/books and the events of the day. Later everyonf...OUT!!!!!!!!
