Morning Everyone...
Well, I did it. Not my all time best run but I did it. The entire 12.4 miles, with two large hills. 2H 15 M, that is slower than my last Half (13.1) but I didin't have to contend with hills then. It's ok, I have three weeks to get ready with the next race in the series (25k-15.5miles) Why do i do it? I guess i'm at a point in my life where between laying around and getting fatter and staying active and keping my weight in check I choose the latter. I like to call it runnig from the Reaper. I'm not getting any younger, but it doesn't mean I'm going to give up the fight. Though I still can't seem to lose much weight. I need help!!!!!! Oh Well.
Ok...lets talk about reading. For you philosphers out there I need to ask, does ANYBODY read Nietzsche for pleasure? I'm making my second attempt through "Twilight of the Gods" and i'm not having much more luck than I did before. I want to read it, I need to read it, I'm COMPELLED to read it, Yet the meaning alludes me.
*SIGH* ..Ok, I have so much to do. I also need to decide if I want to go see Big D and The Kids Table tomorrow night. I REALLY shouldn't go out on a "school night" but I really want to see this show. Oh such a dilemma. I'm going now, Stay cool...stay safe!!!
All Hail the Kings and woe to the Non-believers.

(I read The Philosophy of Andy Warhol too. Love that book, very much so.)
Anyway, see ya.
I'm taking a new strategy on my training. I promised myself that for my new year, I was going to take runnning more seriously. I've been told that I'm the most happy and subsequently more pleasant to be around when I run. I had a picture from this weeks race, but I look like a bloated pile of shit. Obviously No one will be seeing those.
So here is one from the summer..you get the idea.
So kids, i'm out of here for now. I have to do dishes. Domestic of me isn't it????
