Last night An Axe played what was possibly the best gig of our time together.

It felt like a corner was turned and we became an actual band, not just four guys on a stage trying not to fuck up.

I've found a confidence and comfort behind the mic that I've never had before.
It was a good feeling.
Now I just have to work on my stage banter...

It helped that we ended up with Portishead's personal soundguy behind the desk!

Also my good good friends Johnny Cakes and Remie just got engaged. He asked her hollywood movie style.
Got the memnager of a swanky hotel to open a closed terrace overlooking clifton suspension bridge and got down on one knee in the heavy snow.I love those guys and I'm so happy for them.
