An Axe - Bear
An Axe - Light
I wouldn't normally be such a whore for my band, especially not in such a formative stage of the music, but I'm really excited about how it's all working out.
We have the final mixes of the blunt demos done that really lift the piano and drums thanks to Foundry so those'll be up on the Myspace pretty soon I think. Hopefully we'll have all ten of our tracks demoed and ready to start practicing so that Foundry can lay down his piano. I can't wait til it all comes together. My piano skills are limited and he's a joanna-master so I think our tunes will take on a new sick dimention!
Last night Zamuzel and I stayed up til 4 in the morning drinking Touaborg (sp? Denmarks premium lager) arranging music (the first video is the result of that), watching League Of Gentlemen (which the years haven't been kind to. Either that or I rinsed it so hard when I was younger that I rubbed all the magic off. Like a moth's wings), Eddie Murphy's 'Delirious' (Funny every single time I watch it) and finally Neverending Story (God damn that's a seriously good film!)
I woke up at 8 this morning with my laptop open and on, my light on and a sense of confusion akin to that of being woken by your parents at a ridiculous hour to go on holiday as a child.
It's the halfway point of theknives being away. So instead of counting up the days she's been gone I get to start counting down til she comes back! Yup, I am a gimp.
We've got a really nice week planned for after her return, including hanging out with my cousin and her insane kid (we're the only ones who encourage her odd behaviour instead of telling her off!), a trip to Stratford, a wine tour in London and a birthday meal!
I can't wait!
Then I start my new job!
Also can't wait!
Right. Four hours sleep is not nearly enough ,so I'm gonna get my head back down before Zam peels himself off my sofa and come a-knocking at my door!
Ciao!

I'm coming on the Friday to Bristol. Shit's gonna hit the fan. In a good way.
It's looking like 5pm Friday until 5pm Sunday, give or take. Plenty of time for mischief!
