Well, all the well wishing and finger crossing from you guys seemed to work, so thanks!

For those who I haven't told yet, the secret special project I was undertaking was a demo show of a podcast for GWR (local radio for folks not in the Bristol area) about Bristol music.
GWR contacted the magazine I write for after reading a piece I'd written about the Bristol music scene and thought I'd be a good bet to helm their new show.

Apparently the producer's head honcho liked it and is keen to turn it into a proper weekly event!
If all goes to plan then it could lead to some quite exciting things.

My gig on Wednesday went swimmingly also.
It's not all that often I step off stage feeling completely happy with my playing but that night I was all smiles.
We added synths for the first time and the results were really cool (thanks go to Foundry for that)
Also lots of thanks to Narshada & Zamuzel for coming along. It was most appreciated. Especially since Zam has seen us more times than anyone over the years and must be pretty bored of us by now
Was just a shame that theknives couldn't make it She did plan on surprising me but the trains foiled her plot. Damn them to hell!
She'll be here this evening though and that makes me a happy Kris. I'm gonna take her for food and then hole up somewhere with Narshada and Zamuzel for drinktimes.
I can't wait.
