NEWBLOGEXCITEMENTPOSTWHOOOSHFUN!!
Ahem.
So here it is. The all new Kristoph blog post.
What have I been up to, you ask?
Lots.
That's what.
I think it's been nearly a month since I last posted and I can pretty much sum it all up (don't worry, I'm going into more detail in a second) as: Happy times.
Yup.
Some of you may or my not know that myself and my housemates got kicked out of our home by the landlord (for reasons not of our own doing) and had to find a new place. Well, we're finally in and it's amazing!
Laminate flooring, integrated kitchen, A PROPER SHOWER!
I'm actually glad we were forced to move because this place is 'The Shizzle'.
All I needs is curtain. Before the neighbours complain.
That's what's taken up most of my month. The other portion has been full of her.
Last week was spent nearly entirely in each other's company. The longest we've spent together. It was stupendous.
Saturday brought the smallest SGUK meet in history (although the nudists seemed pretty intent on getting in on the action.) with Pinklet and iannnnnn. Two of the nicest people you could hope to meet.
The weather was perfect and the company was stellar. Paddling in painted on jeans is haaaard work.
Getting up at 5:30 was completely worth it.
Sunday was a special viewing of Deathproof in Southampton followed by a Q&A with Quentin Tarrantino. Watching him cut down a guy who attempted to pick holes in the movie was awesome. Bless him and his huge fo'head. And belly.
From there we travelled to Bristol for four days of eating, drinking, crosswords, meeting the parents, monkey impersonations and Deathnote! Perfection.
I especially enjoyed watching This Is England in a mutually nervous/sad/edge of the seat kind of way.
So yes. I can honestly say I haven't been this happy that I can remember.
Thank you gods of SG.
Today at the huge weekly car boot sale a small Morrocan man rushed up to my friend and hissed "Gold, my friend. I have gold to sell you! You buy. Look at my fine gold...."
No, really. This happened.
Also I picked up the vinyl of this:
...swoon.

p.s. Come see my band support The Twilight Sad in Bristol on Monday. Merci.

It was lovely to meet you too, take care and may there be plenty more unwitting celebrity-attended SGUK meets!
