It's been a while, eh?
I wish I could say my lack of posting is down to a busy, hectic life, but alas it's more to do with laziness.
Laziness and sitting round grinning like a freak.
Still.
Quite a bit has happened though since my last post.
I still haven't posted about TheQuestion's birthday bash have I?
Jeebus.
Even though I didn't get to stay for long I had an awesome time. I met some ace new folks, discovered what a man wears under his kilt, jived a la Axel Rose to Guns N Roses with Qwerty (before an unfortunate incident involving anime, my loose tongue, Qwerty's cobra-esque spitting ability and my face.)
I'm informed I deserved it though, so she is forgiven
From here on my memory is slightly hazy regarding the order of days.
The weekend after brought with it another trip to London with Zamuzel to meet miss Claire0801 and to get both my tattoo finished and Zam's new one done.
Friday was spent mainly on the coach, with the evening being spent in The Most Expensive Cocktail Bar In The World (to a west country bumpkin at least) before a good old bogle in Twee As Fuck.
We invented Twee-core. Really we did. London remained unimpressed.
Saturday was an absolutely splendid day.
Zam and I met Claire early for breakfast; I was too hungover to take the Cheesecake path, but Claire attacked it with aplomb. We then took in some touristy sights before dropping Zam in Kings Cross to go under the needle.
Claire and I spent the time wandering London's gold paved streets, checking out the Warhol Vs Banksy exhibition and becoming mutually annoyed with pedestrians.
She puts up with my indecisiveness with the patience of a saint.
After a too-short time spent lying in the sun in the park we headed back to meet Zam and to get my work done. Only Zam's gawn an' hogged all the tattoo time, aint ee!?
To be fair Mr. Vinall was under the weather and I didn't want him to peg it in the middle of my tattoo, so I let him off.
From here we high tailed it to the legendary Ben Crouch for an all too brief mini-meet with some of my favourite members in the world.
Phew. This brings me up to speed I believe.
Claire0801 came to see me again on Wednesday. We drank wine, stuffed all the chinese in the world into our bellies and headed off to meet TheDuke for a couple of drinks in a magic bar. YES! A MAGIC BAR!
On Thursday I cajoled Claire into meeting my parents, we did some pretty impressive shopping and then stuffed all the Mexican food in the world into our bellies. With wine. I see a pattern forming.
We were going to see Eagle Vs Shark, but I fudged up the days it was showing. Boo.
As always though I had an amazing time and the time for her to leave came too soon (despite her missing the train, thus granting me an extra hour.)
Now Kristoph is: Looking forward to more chinese and Romsey-based fun.
Looking forward to getting into my new house as soon as possible (Actual shower cubicle! Fuckyes!)
Looking forward to beach camping goodness.
Looking forward. Definitely and excitedly looking forward.
