Saw a great show in Oakland at iMusicast last Sunday that I ended up doing sound for. The headliners were Far From Finished from Boston, MA. Yay Oi and Punk Rock.

My gf is gone to LA for the weekend (Passover) so I'm all alone. I just practiced bass a bit and tomorrow I'm going car test-driving, but right now I'm kinda bored. Yeehaw.

Well, more bad news. Our car insurance doesn't cover stuff in the car, so all my band gear seems to be gone for good. Also, I'm probably not gonna get into the Drawing class I wanted to since I'm not a senior or art major.

Yeah, yeah, cry me a fucking river, emo boy.

Well, school starts up tomorrow. Four quarters left till I graduate, yeehaw. I'm learning about early modern mapmaking and samurais and how to draw good. Also continuing in the recording studio for some free credits, except that I can't record my band now since my drum set was stolen with my car. Oh well, we'll borrow one or just record acoustic.

I go to Stanford University. It's nice because there are tons of course offerings and yet unlike the really big universities you still have smallish classes. Where do you go to school? Those classes sound pretty cool, like something that'd be offerred here. I hope you can get in to them... I'm a bit worried that I won't be able to get into Drawing I since I'm not an Art or Urban Studies major :-/.

Thanks for the insurance tips... unfortunately I already told the police values of the stuff so not sure I should tell the insurance different values since they presumably have access to the police reports. I'll definitely take your advice about a notebook though--put my history notetaking skillz to good use, ha. Pirate
