So Michael's unhired me the day after they hired me because they found someone who was "more flexible" than me--even though I had no problem working the shift. Which is fine, I don't really care what their excuse is now. I got a call back from Shinders, had an interview, and am now VERY HAPPILY working at their Maplewood location. I love it there. The people are awesome from what I can tell--both at corporate and in the store. It kind of wears me out after working my other job, but it doesn't even feel like work. So far, so good--and I love it there. Plus.. holy crap, discount on comics/books.

I was shopping with my buddy Kristine when her hubby (my good friend Corwin) called. He has to earn calls in the army and has only called a few times. I got to talk to him for a minute or two also, and that made me immensely happy...even though the dork was sick and sniffly and crying on the other end.

Still no man-thing in my life. I think I've given up on Scott. Love the boy to death, but I think we were just destined to be good friends. It feels really good to finally be able to say that. I was having a hard time with it in the beginning.

SG Live was pretty awesome, too. It was worth the ticket price for the opening band alone!

And now, I sleepy.
