After spending some time in my back yard checking out game trails yesterday afternoon , I decided to setup a tree stand for observational purposes , so I rose early this morning and climbed into my tree stand before sunrise and watched all the goodies that I will be hunting in their respective seasons . I have an overpopulation of deer and turkeys , some huge ringneck pheasant , many ruffled grouse , signs of small black bears which the game warden is always catching with culvert traps for relocation and says we will soon have a lottery style bear season , too many bobcats , crazy racoons who just sit there and look at me wondering what that crazy fucker is doing up in that tree , I had to buy a shed to lock my garbage pails in to keep the racoons from trailing trash all the way to the brook . My neighbors have been complaining about coyotes , so I should be able to do some serious varmint hunting
