I'm perplexed. SG was once an oasis in a dreary desert but now I find myself sifting through pics of members' "stuff." Pics of bottles of nail polish, stripy new panties, shiny shoes and designer bags are pervasive. SG members were once the counter culture and the strong feminine members were my heroes. I sense that I'm now part of a club of mall-dwellers who think tattoos are their ticket to non-conformity. OK, so I know I'm not offering anything that hasn't been said a million times before and I take no joy in simply being critical, I'm actually saddened by the "dumbing" of SG. Harumph.

sometimes, you have to take the good with the bad. with anything in life, its inevitable that more and more people will find something interesting and jump on the band wagon thereby making it less unique.
