Class went well this morning. My professor is fucking GOOFY, but I like him. He has that crazy hair going on where he's bald on top but the hair he still has left is totally white & grey and it's wirey. Jumping all over the place. Like he never combs it. I like it. The number of students in there surprised me. I expected only 20-30, but we got about 50-60, I think. Sheesh. Anyway, he informed us of a seven-page term paper we'll have to complete by the last day of class. The topic is our own birthday; what happened on the day or the week we were born. Pretty interesting. I overheard a lot of fellow students blurting out the years 1990 and 1991. GAWD. At least I get to cover my birthday in the fucking 80s. Knowing me, I'll probably start on that paper.... TONIGHT!
Then I dragged my lazy arse home to eat a quick sandwich and then headed to work. Apparently, I wanted to get the hell out of there because I zoomed through all of my work for the day AND finished some extra work Joann wanted me to do for her with 30 minutes left. I hauled ass.
To Walmart I went for some groceries. Bought some: stir-fry vegetables and stew meat (maybe cook that tonight?), faux-flavored chicken and broccoli pasta (tastes better than it sounds), a lemon, a Granny Smith apple, Doritos (spicy nachooooo!), wine for my parents, and wine for myself. I'm trying to eat just a LITTLE bit healthier. I've already gone over 72 hours without the ol' nicotine, and I do feel better. Definitely getting some cravings every now and then but for the most part - I think I'll pull through with grace and mild flatulence.
My mom is asking my dad about all sorts of symptoms to try and narrow something down? I heard her ask him if he has vaginal dryness.
And then it dawned on me that my mom and I have the same sense of humor sometimes... and after a moment of awkward silence - they both busted out in laughter and she said to him, "No, seriously - do you have regular menstrual cycles?"
Fin.
