Well, the alcohol did soothe my sore throat... But it seems I've woken up today feeling very sick, groggy, and messy. The chicken & shrimp pasta, spinach dip, and french onion soup have teamed up to give me the most terrifying gas that has ever escaped my body. Poor, poor Seth. He tells me he thinks it's funny how much I've dropped some methane bombs, but I believe he's truly disgusted and on the verge of tears if he hears me toot one more time.
We watched our friends (Mogul Street Reserve) play at Funky Blues Shack last night in Destin. I was definitely the most underdressed lady there. Girls were walking around in high heels that they might've stolen from a stripper's dead body; had on fancy jewelry, flowing skirts, long sweaters, and thick, gaudy make-up. You could probably scoop a layer right off their cheeks. And here I was... Jeans, t-shirt, dirty sneakers, non-matching scarf, and smeared make-up. Oh, well. I survived. It was excellent to see some familiar comrades no matter what the atmosphere.
Today's plans? I know I'll be taking a shower. I talked to my sister on the phone yesterday and informed her that her Christmas present(s) may not make it on time. In fact, I told her it definitely WON'T. She told me not to worry, and knowing my easy-going, 37 year old sis... She means it. So I'm really not going to fret over it. I actually didn't get her and her wife's 2009 Christmas gift to them until this past November when I drove up to Atlanta to visit them. HA! "Don't worry," she says...
Seth & I plan on maybe playing some Bioshock, but going to see Tron later is a plan. I'm very excited to see it. Didn't see the first one, but I know what it's about and I'd rather not take up time watching terrible 80s, computer graphics when I could just go see the new one and be left in awe. I'm interested to see how the Daft Punk soundtrack will sound, too.
This concludes another blog entry. Pandora has decided to go from playing smooth jazz to medieval, adventuresque (No spell-check. Let's make that a real word!) music.
Take it easy.![bok](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/chicken.9a50d1702f8e.gif)
