Went out to Cabezon ( looks like a giant nipple jutting from the flatness of the earth) during a fantastic storm! Had a run in with a drunk driving disgruntled local who could not grasp the concept of me stopping to take pictures of a ghost town.... I suppose they don't get many tourist 20 miles down many dirt roads- Makes me want to start carrying a gun though. Stopped by a nature reserve to see some avian life, but the marsh was all dried up and the only twitters I glanced were everyday sparrows, doves and such....Was a good little hike none the less!
