so...i should be getting my new bigger plugs today! i got a pair of kaos silicone 3/4" parylene coated eyelets. when my ears have healed, im getting these. i'm really excited. and whenever katy takes me to the tat shop, im getting my medusa done. im pretty sure itll look good on me, im retiring my septum for the second time but keeping my nostril stud.
we moved in to our new apartment, im turning the keys in for the old one this weekend. the new place is more spacious, but still teeny tiny compared to my apartment in plano. oh well, weve got an extra bedroom for the computer, another bathroom, more closet space, and a much better location. we're in the back corner on the pretty side, the neigbors arent noisy, we live right around 2 of the maintenance guys, we're close to the mailboxes, the office, AND a dumpster (we dont have trash days). my walk to work is shorter, there are always like 15-20 open parking spaces, and we live in the same building of the guy that im buying my car from. so this place pretty much rocks all around. well, except we now have cheap metal mini blinds instead of the quiet, pretty wooden ones. so we have to shut the cats out of the bedroom at night. and all the counters are kind of a spam hue.......
im still totally stumped on my set theme, im trying to figure out the cheapest easiest thing to do but i still want it to be fuckin badass. i had planned on doing it at club wax in dallas, cuz i know the owner through my best friend, but ive seen alot of bars and clubs in shoots lately, so i dont want it to be just another club set, ya know?? my tattoo artist, who i was gonna have to a backdrop for me for a different set, is in tulsa and i cant afford to take the time or money to go see him to get it done. so, yeah, im stumped all over again. and does anyone have suggestions on the best way to light a set (besides using a professional)?

i used my canon 540EZ, and bounced the flash off the ceiling. That gave me some kick ass light for my girls set. Other than that, an hour before dusk or an hour after dawn, thats the best natural light, dont use natural light during the day, it will wash your colors and give you some gnarly shadows. you can always go to www.lighttec.com and rent a few softboxes or something if you REALLY want to.

I need a bigger apartment! Can I move into your spare room? Underneath the desk???
