Why are the calories calculated on the back of pasta & rice packages based on 2 oz DRY??? Is there a group of people out there who eats this stuff dry or something? Am I missing the reasoning for this? It is really irritating when you are counting calories to see this bullshit.

I think getting enough sleep makes me grouchy. What is up with that?

My kids used to eat dry spaghetti...I am not sure why. I think they liked the way it snapped and crackled in their mouth.
Then again my son used ot eat dry cat food.
