Well.. That was brief. I got to the monastery I was going to be staying in, only to be told by the forest service and Monterey County Sheriff's Department (twenty hours later) that I had to leave or notify my next of kin, and my dentist.

MY DENTIST! That is a serious warning.

I am now back in Providence, home ten days early thanks to United Airlines. I have a shit load of pictures that will go up in time, but right now I am going to have a hot shower, and a then lay down.
