I really should be packing or sleeping, as I have to go get on a bus tomorrow and head to Toronto for the Toronto Burlesque Festival Fundraiser show... but instead I'm taking a second to say hello to you lovely people!
Today I performed along side several fellow burlesque performers (whom I will not name out of respect for their privacy) at two shows at a private club. the club is members only and the shows are on a very small stage and the feel is very intimate. It was actually my second time performing there. When I was first approached about perorming there I was freaked out by the mystery behind a "private members' hostess lounge" but after a meeting and private tour of the club I gave it a shot. The shows we do there have a completely different feel to them. We can interact with the audience a little more from the stage. give each of them a wink or shimmy of their own, directed at them alone. All in all the two shows we did there today went well, and I look forward to the next event they invite us to!
I got a few more photos from my last Capital Tease production; Bump In The Night! Good ones too! I'll be adding those to our website shortly and I'll be sure to stick a couple up in here!
Well it's time for me to pack for my 12 hour trip to Toronto!! I wish I could stick around longer but i have to be back in Ottawa for a STAR WARS INSPIRED FASHION SHOW Saturday morning at the Casino de Hull! lol I'm Darth Vader!! I promise to post pics of that too
