Dear Valentine's Day,

Hmm, I was one of those kids who never had a valentine. Can you tell? I'm so fucking emo, aren't I?
Today is going to be rough. We have over 160 reservations at the restaurant, and have I mentioned that we can seat about 50 at a time? I spent my day off preping for today, so I am grouchy and angsty at the same time. Those boys won't know what hit them today at work. I'll try and post pictures of the desserts later tonight if you guys are interested in seeing them...

Well, what else...oh, my friend left for the marines yesterday. It was very sad. I cried so much because he was leaving...

:EDIT: Today was one of the worst days I've ever had at work. I woke up late, didn't get all of my prep done, and we did 190 covers. I'm so tired. It was a 14 hour work day today, and I think that I'm going to take a bath before I go to bed. Baths are awesome, don't you think? Anywho, here are some of the desserts that I've been working on.

And here is one of the desserts from tonight. It was a tart filled with a dark chocolate ganache and garnished with fresh strawberries. Hmm, strawberries seem to be in season, no?

I hope that everybodies Valentine's Day was better than mine. I'm off to play in water. Toodles.

P.s.- I don't know why, but on a whim, I filled out an application to be a model on the site. Gah, what was I thinking? It would be cool if I was accepted, but I think that the chances of that happening are quite small. Oh well, it's too late now I guess.
