So, I still have a stuffy nose from hell. I'm starting to think it's allergies that are aggravated by the cold I had. I did have an infection because I had a fever but the fevers been broken for several days. My throat isn't sore anymore (except for when I sleep with my mouth open) but the stuffy nose remains. This is the middle of the tree pollen season for this area and that's one of my allergies. I'm so glad that zyrtec is OTC now. I'm going to get some to see if I can break this stuffy nose cycle. It's happened to me before where I've gotten a bug of some type and immediately have problems with my allergies right after.
I hate this mostly because it affects my sleeping. When I haven't gotten much sleep I become a total bitch (well more then usual). Poor Steven has been feeling my grumpiness. When I don't feel good I'm quiet and not as randomly hyper or spunky. It seems to really bother him. He tries to be super silly to cheer me up but he just ends up getting on my nerves. Poor guy.
Oh, well. I know I'll get better eventually.
The baby still seems to be following the same activity patterns so she doesn't seem to be affected by my illness. That's really my main concern. I worry about a lack of sleep on my part somehow bothering her. She probably sleeps and wakes regardless of my Circadian Rhythms. The only exception would probably be from loud noises or actually stimuli (poking at my belly or laying in a position that gives her less room). I don't know. Based on what I've read and have been experiencing, it seems to be the case.
