Well we are making some progress on getting the house all packed up. Slowly but surely. This weekend will be dedicating to putting items in storage, packing the car with the belongings we're keeping, trying to sell the last of the odds and ends at our garage sale and then donating what ever doesn't sell to the thrift store. This should make it a lot easier to sell the house.
Steven has been lazy and it's been funny listening to him come up with every excuse in the book as to why. He knows I can smell his BS from a mile away and has finally started putting forth SOME effort. I have to be cold mean and bossy. I hate it but it's the only thing that works. He says that he reacts better to kindness for motivation but that just isn't true. :SIGH: I think most married women will agree that their husbands are kind of like their children. I just don't know if I'm raising mine well...lol. He'll read this and whine at me a little but deep down he knows it's true. Now it's time for me to use the expression that I moved to the south for "Bless his heart." It's a wonderful expression where you make fun of someone and get away with it.
Examples:
President Bush: "He's a horrible public speaker. Bless his heart."
SG Staff: "They think SG is still "edgy" and "alternative". Bless their hearts."
Studio Photographers: "They think their photos are considered "art". Bless their hearts."
See how it works? It's great. Ok, maybe it only works in the south.
