The job search continues.

Went to Outback and that looks promising ( I hope). They didn't seemed put off by the partime thing or the fact that I haven't been a waitress in years. Apparently they're one of the many companies that give you a personality/aptitude test. I felt like I was in school again with my little test booklet, scan-tron, and scrap paper.
I have an interview with them on Thursday and apparently there is another test. I'll make sure to study.

Then I went to Pizza Inn but they were jam packed. It was not a good time to apply.

Then I went to Surin Of Madison. I will never ever eat at that restaurant again! I have no fucking clue what the owners deal is but I think he might be discriminating against women. I walk up to the hostess and asked if there was a manager available to turn my app in to. She said she'd get the owner. A man came out. I handed him my app/ shook his hand/ introduced myself/ ect. He looked me up and down. He barely glanced at my app and asked if I was wanting a hostess position. It took me back because at the top of the app I clearly wrote that I was applying for a server position under the "what position are you applying for?" field. I explained what I was looking for and asked if he had any server positions open. He laughed and said yes and then asked again if I wanted a hostess position. I asked if the waiters did tip share with the hostess. He said No. I said that I was looking for a tip income rather then a base rate. He said something I couldn't understand. I told him that I hadn't understood. He repeated it and I still didn't understand. Then he said thank you and walked away.
I've always noticed that there are only male waiters and female hostesses there. I wondered if it was a coincidence but I think I got my answer. I hope the restaurant bombs. It's new and a risky venture so there's a possibility.

Anywho, I'm going to Applebee's tomorrow morning. They hire through "casting calls" . They do them every Wednesday at 9am. I've missed the last two cause I didn't wake up...lol. Good thing they didn't know I was going to come. It wouldn't look good.
