i can finally update, my keyboard is working again. i spilled hot chocolate on it and you can imagine the rest.
this week has been too active for me, been sewing these horrible neo-colored robes for a theater play, they give me headache for a) being so bright and b) the fact that they have to be ready a lot sooner than i thought.
today i rode my bike to work, then to other side of helsinki's centre for the police station to apply for a passport, then home via a very difficult road, sewed a bit, then to capoeira practice which was actually very relaxed and i think i learned something, and then back home. now i'm quite ready for bed, though it's only 9:50pm.
there was this boy, a child, maybe 7 years old, watching the capoeira practise, (they are held on a children's playground because of the soft "asphalt"). the boy started to follow me with an angry frown on his face. he did this for such a long time, i had to ask what's his problem. he said that he hates me, because i'm a tough guy,i'm stupid and an idiot, and that he can throw me away from here. i was like "ooo-kay". all my fellow capoeiristas who heard this were laughing so much. then he said that i have all the signs of a tough guy (and pointed my piercings) and said that he will have energy to fight me. i've never had this happen! i really wanted to smack the boy for running his mouth like that, what kind of upbringing must he have!? oh well, it mostly made me just laugh.
if they give capoeira names for us some day, i will be the "tough guy" -i wonder what it is in portuguese?
